Generate instant eBay titles and detect historical signals sellers miss.
PCBackScan lets you upload postcard images in pairs — front first, back second. The system stores both sides, analyzes the back for names, places, events, postmarks, and collector signals, and builds a searchable historical database.
Upload an even number of images. PCBackScan treats every 2nd, 4th, 6th image, and so on, as the postcard back.

Find History on the Postcard’s Back
Most postcard listings describe only the front image.
But valuable historical information often appears on the back:
- sport stars on famous teams in big games (MLB, NHL, negro baseball league, etc.)
- famous events (Titanic, Hindenburg, assassinations, political conventions, speeches)
- rare postmarks (closed post offices, ghost towns, internment camps, ship caches)
- historical events (religious convention, earthquakes, fires, world fairs, aviation records and flights)
- disaster survivors (shipwrecks, aviation crashes, floods)
- military units (bases/camps, basic training sites, ships, submarines, training commands)
- genealogy clues (city, town, postmark day/month/year); addresses, name of recipient, business correspondence)
- …. this is just a glimpse of the information that can be revealed after the back of a postcard is scanned and analyzed.
